“From Device to Data and Back: MicroSystems for the Future of Sensing, Data Processing and Modulation”

We explore the convergence of intelligent microsystems, bioelectronic medicine, and artificial intelligence to enable a new paradigm in healthcare. By tightly integrating sensing, computation, and clinical insight, we introduce a device to data to intelligence loop that transforms how physiological signals are captured, interpreted, and acted upon. We present advances in ultra low power implantable systems, wireless neural interfaces, and on chip intelligence, alongside emerging frameworks such as future guided learning for predictive and adaptive healthcare. These innovations are positioned within a translational context, addressing key challenges in safety, scalability, and real world deployment. The talk highlights a vision where seamless integration of hardware and AI enables minimally invasive, continuously learning systems that improve patient outcomes and redefine the boundaries of neurotechnology.
